Compared to the disc brake version, the Dura Ace Di2 ST-R9250 dual control levers rely entirely on a secure cable connection and the low weight of a rim brake system. In terms of ergonomics and the use of state-of-the-art materials, the STI rim brake levers offer great control and modulation and offer drastically reduced weight compared to disc brake road bikes.
