While others may also dabble in the world of electronic shifting, it's hard to not take note of the undeniable consistency of Campagnolo's EPS drivetrain, both in its performance and knack for aesthetics -- and to keep functionality infallibly precise you need a brain to operate it. The Campagnolo EPS V4 Interface Unit takes on the role of overseer, deliberately transferring information to each leg of the system with finesse to maintain the coveted crisp shifting of a Campy system with skill and precision. To oversee the functionality of the system through your rides, the V4 comes equipped to zero out the derailleurs for resetting and make on-the-go diagnoses if the system begins to malfunction. It also works with Campy's MyCampy app to give you full control over shifting and ride quality. One of the biggest advantages to come out of electronic drivetrains as a whole has been the ability for riders to minutely tune the feel and responsiveness of shifts to their preferences. Unsurprisingly, Campy took its own approach in giving riders control of the drivetrain, developing MyCampy to allow you to adjust derailleur settings, change from single to double shifts, alter the speed of your shifts, and then communicate those changes to the V3 to set your drivetrain in seconds. If you're like us, chances are you believe that data matters, and running a head unit to deliver riding metrics while you train is key, and to keep data concise and constant, the EPS V4 Interface is designed to seamlessly integrate with the unit of your choice, communicating via ANT+ and Bluetooth with any computer that uses either of those technologies. You can also choose to run the MyCampy app on your smartphone while you're training, as it will keep track of your equipment and ride details in addition to making drivetrain adjustments. In terms of design, the V4 maintains nearly identical aesthetics to its predecessor, the V3, using the same sleek, more streamlined shape and conveniently include mounting bracket and hardware.
