The 795 BLADE RS is already considered as one of the best high end road racing bike, and is a firm favourite amongst competitive riders. The upgraded 2021 version retains 100% of the high performance characteristics whilst considerably reducing weight. The result is an exceptionally stiff and reactive ride, with a frame weighing in at a full 300g less than previous models

LOOK Bicycles all new EPS carbon manufacturing process, reducing the frameset weight to sub 1000 grams. Its not all about weight though, the precision manufacturing process allows specific carbon blends and thickness where it’s required to ensure every watt you put out hits the pavement and minimising thickness in other areas, extensively tested by top riders in the LOOK research and development team to ensure the perfect blend of stiffness and comfort.

Look 795 Frameset - EPS Carbon details

Thanks to evolution in the use of high modulus carbon fibre, the proportion of carbon fibre to resin to achieve stiffness is doubled (from 32% to 63%) This means tube stiffness is reached with fewer layers of carbon fibre, meaning frame strength and stiffness is achieved at a lower frame weight. Ultra high modulus (UHM) fibers are added up to 4% in most strategic areas to ensure optimal stiffness. The result is an ultra lightweight and exceptionally strong aero frame.

The new EPS (Extended Polystyrene) technology is used to obtain premium, ultralight carbon products. This process is used for our highest performance bike models like the Look 795 Blade. Rather than having one single mould for each frame size, this method requires two: one for the outer shape of the frame and one for the inner. The EPS process consists of draping the layer of carbon fiber fabric over a hard polystyrene form, which is then removed. The high-tech moulding process used on LOOK bikes avoids any wrinkles, folds, or empty voids between carbon layers, a true revolution in carbon fibre processing. This makes the 795 BLADE RS road bike frameset one of the lightest high performance, aerodynamic bikes on the market. The complete bike is 420 grams lighter than previous model. The adoption of the EPS Carbon process on the fork and AEROPOST 3 seat post makes this a true masterpiece.
